We Can Help

We have a goal to put a stop to human trafficking. Recognizing potential red flags and knowing the signs of human trafficking are an important step in identifying victims and helping them find the assistance. Not all signs will be existing in all situations.

The following are phone numbers and links that can provide some knowledge and/or help. Please look at our Red Flags document at the bottom of this page. The document offers an insightful look into Human Trafficking.

• Call 9-1-1 immediately if you feel someone you know is being trafficked and in danger
• Call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS if you have information about a trafficker (Click Here)
• Advocates are available to assist victims with services, call ECLI, The Empowerment Collaborative of Long Island. (Click Here)
• Safe Harbour provides care for children who have been, or are at risk of being sexually abused. (Click Here)
• A Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) is available at all Hospital Emergency Rooms for victims of rape or for victims who have been sexually assaulted. SANE nurses concentrate on sensitive, victim-centered, medical and forensic health care. (Click Here)
